i was contemplating on whether i should update or not. thought the picture looked pretty nice up there.

school today was... rotten. so was training.

ohwait. the librarian was in a good mood today. she was close to smiling at me. i wonder why. she even nicely extended the deadline for me to return the remaining tape. perhaps she's gotten herself a new boyfriend. either that or her non-existant boyfriend has finally decided to date her out of sympathy.

anyhow, yesterday my sister was telling me about how some of her guy friends (or boyfriends, to be exact) had traumatic experiences with nanyang / scgs girls which scarred them for life.

this guy confessed that he used to always offer his seat to standing nanyang girls. as long as they 'just don't hold anything'. HAHAHA.

so we started a whole conversation on how nanyang should actually organize events like 'shave armpits campaign' and invite our dearest principal to say things like:

"gers, you are all teenagers undergoing puberty now. it is important to take note of your own image, especially when the hongzi is sleeveless. yes, even though i don't shave, it's okay, because i wear cheongsams all the time and i don't show my body hair. please deal with your body hair appropriately, i'm sure you know what i'm driving at."

(i don't know how she pronounces stuff apart from gers.)

or give out shavers to us during youth day or national day or whatever day it is! instead of all those ugly waterbottles which end up at the bin at the end of the day. i mean, nanyang girls would be smart enough to get the hint, wouldn't they? after all we are all capable of solving linear equations and come up with impressive chemical formulas. unless some people are really dense and go like, “学校给我们这些东西来干嘛?这怎么用啊?”

hahaha. i mean there are two ways to solve this problem and to stop traumatizing innocent strangers. one is to change the uniform, and the other is to, you know, shave. i personally think that the latter is more economic, and is an easier way out.

and omg, imagine this:

"girls, we are conducting a spot check now. please lift up your arms."

what a lovely sight it would be!

and i'm sorry to anyone who's proud of their body hair for posting such stuff. or axillary hair, to be exact.

(omg, so exciting! my sister can actually see me from the road. as in, she was making an effort to drive slower to see if she can actually see our room from the road, and she actually saw me! so exciting. hahaha.)

heaven on earth
