hmm. we got to watch kungfu hustle during training today! and sir told us his purpose in letting us watch the show after watching the first disc.
he said stephen chow is creative. that's why the movie was such a success. and that we are too si ban, and we should actually create our own styles. our own style which no one can copy.
and today during PE, we were playing badminton. and a sudden thought struck me.
cos PE falls on thursdays, so i'll usually be thinking about judo during PE and how i'm supposed to survive PT later.
so while i was hopelessly trying to catch the shuttlecock, i thought of this:
everybody does almost the same few throws, but it is our own style that makes the throws that we do different. i want to create my own style.
sth like that. ah, i had a more cheem-sounding line actually, but i forgot how it goes already.
so when sir told us about how we should have our own style and stuff, i was like, 'my goodness. wasn't this what i thought of this morning?'
and he said that it's not possible to create our own style overnight. which means we have to try and try, till we suceed.
so maybe, my throws are not that hopeless as i think they are.
