i'm pissed with the school.

forget abt the kyu grade prize presentation incident.

forget abt announcing our results with the rgs bout before team finals wrongly. (it's 3-1, not 3-2)

forget abt delaying our prize presentation for so long.

but.

today's prize presentation sucked.

honestly, we were the cca that achieved the best results.

two team golds, plus a dozen of beautiful individuals results.

yet, we received the worst treatment.

note: no offence to gym/swimming/trackandfield or whatsoever. i'm just unhappy with the school.

we were the first to present. and ms chi pin lay gave out the prizes, with this councillor announcing the results and pronouncing my name wrongly. it's PENNYMOO, not pennymo.

it was super dull, went sth like,

'C division team 1st, B division team 1st'

mentioned nth else. nothing about how spectacular we were, how both divisions achieved 5-0.

they weren't just 5-0, they were 5 IPPONs. they were, PERFECT SCORES.

but nothing was said.

it seemed like nyjudo getting all that gold medals were chicken feed, that we didn't even need to train hard to get them.

HELLO. we are fighting for the school, we are, but, fighting for the school.

no one will rmb how who the 7 team players are, how they fought, how they have shed blood and tears for nationals.

all they will rmb is, NANYANG B AND C DIVISIONS JUDO GOT GOLD LEH.

yet, this is how the school treated us.

it's okay if all the cca prize presentations went like that today. but apparently, THIS WASN'T THE CASE.

after our turn, it was gym. and this time it wasn't chipinlay who gave out the prizes anymore, it wasn't some dean anymore. it was the PRINCIPAL.

so loads were said abt gym, miss shirley wong was saying alot.

okay. maybe amanda should have made a speech.

but hello? all of a sudden the person giving out the presents was mdm mak.

so what huh? the judo girls aren't good enough to shake the principal's hand? we aren't worthy enough, even though we got double champs?

HOW FAIR IS THE SCHOOL.

so maybe we are just a useless bunch of girls who just made the mark to shake the dean's hand, while all the other ccas got to shake the principal's hand.

who knows? maybe chipinlay went to wash her hands after giving out the prizes to us.

and then swimming. WOW. there was just a few girls, and to speak the truth, their results weren't that great.

so it was mdm mak giving out the prizes, and much more were said abt them.

i rmb this clearly, 'they tried hard.'

like as if we didn't. like as if we didn't fight hard. like as if we were piles of dung meant to be just brushed aside.

track and field was the worst. honestly. by this time, you could feel how biased the school is.

the girl talked a lot, i think her name's yvonne. and after that, MDM MAK MADE A SPEECH ABOUT THEM.

i know there are trackers who read my blog. but i don't care. i'm gonna say it all out and i don't care if you hate me or not.

what were their achievements?

B division: 3rd
C division: 4th

i don't care how tough it is to get top 4 in nationals for trackandfield.

but honestly, the fact that they didn't get golds, means that they're not good enough.

the fact that they got bronze, meant that they have lost to other people.

so what huh. the school still hold them high up in the sky. the school still think that they are that good.

why not we close down all ccas and leave track and field only? close down all ccas, esp. worthless kinds like judo.

then maybe we judokas can just stand by the sidelines cheering for the track and field girls, provide them with drinks after each event.

oh. not to forget, must give them towels to wipe all that perspiration. and at the end of the day, watch them get top4.

so mdm mak was like, 'nytrackandfield went far...blahblahblah...'

yeah. we didn't went far. we went even further.

but talking about the modern society, hmm. gold is an obiang colour.

now i know why we didn't receive all that good treatment.

or actually, are we supposed to be grateful? considering the fact that they didn't keep our trophies and then return it to us a month later? that's what happened to us during kyu grade, by the way.

and trackandfield nationals were on wednesday.

which means that the earliest day that the girls could give their trophies to the school was thursday.

we gave our trophies on last thursday too. and not like as if there wasn't any prize presentations last friday. to think the school gave us stupid excuses like, there was nsw.

yeah. thank you Nanyang Girls' High School.

google Nanyang Girls' High School. maybe those teachers will find my blog. even better.

those teachers who always tell us to reflect. and give us demerit points for late-coming. and they have done nth wrong to keep our kyu grade trophies and doing nth with them apart from giving the trophies more scratches.

call me petty. call me sensitive.

but how does it feel when you feel so proud of yourselves and you thought that the school ought to be proud of the club too but all the school has done is to tell you to make do with a haste prize presentation and just brush you all aside while giving bronze medal ccas much much much better treatment.

how does it feel.

if we have gotten silvers, or bronzes, i would have shut up. but it's GOLD. GOLD, baby.

aiyah. but what can we do? judo ain't a cca that adhere to the QIN SHEN DUAN PU motto. all nanyang girls are supposed to be sitting with their legs crossed, and only know how to play the guzheng or the violin. or perhaps if we wanna do sports, we ought to do sports like track and field and netball only. we are all supposed to be shaped from that mould.

so i should just shutup and admire how biased the school is.

too bad nanyang. you may like bronzes, but nanyang judo prefers golds.

heaven on earth
